I am in Careers Class this semester. Currently, we are doing a powerpoint about what we are going to do/work in the future. I have two ideas for my future. One - would be to become a mechanic and work on diesel trucks and tractors. Mrs. J. says that the average age of a diesel mechanic is 58 and so that job market is looking good. Everyone knows, however, that my passion is music. What I really hope to do with my life is become a Rock Star! I am hoping to learn more about how I can go after these careers this semester.

Maybe you can do both? Or maybe you can marry someone rich and they will allow you to put all your heart into music. That is what my cousin and her husband do. She is a lawyer and makes lots of money; he makes decent money performing and finishing his shows so it all works out. So, there's always that. :)
